Former cricketer and current commentator and expert Aakash Chopra had some positive and good things to say about the first-ever edition of the Women’s Premier League which is almost coming to an end on 26th March, 2023. Delhi Capitals have already reached the tournament final and what now remains to be seen is whether it will be UP Warriorz, or the Mumbai Indians who will square off with DC in the WPL final on Sunday.


In the interaction with SportsBuzz, Chopra talked about how there were some doubts and questions that were raised ahead of the commencement of the debut edition of the WPL. He went on to say that the tournament was a huge success and that this was just the beginning of a new era in women’s cricket.
